Eckert James River Bat Cave Preserve | The Nature Conservancy

The Eckert James River Bat Cave Preserve is one of the largest bat nurseries in the country—about four million female Mexican free-tailed bats inhabit the site from May through September!

A homegrown page by a Mason County resident. No motive other than to support Mason County businesses by promoting them and encourage locals and visitors to do the same. The main focus is on increasing visitors who will come out, enjoy all we have to offer, and boost our economy with outside dollars, thereby supporting the amazing things Mason County residents can enjoy everyday.
