The purple tent is for voters that need curbside assistance. The Secretary of State said if you do not require Curbside Assistance you need to go inside the Courthouse to vote. I am sorry if this inconvenience anyone, but I want to follow the requirements of the Secretary of State's guidelines.

I am looking for a temporary person to work Early Voting for two weeks in Elections from June 29 thru July 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. I would really like someone that could also work from
October 19th thru October 30. The job pays $12.00 and hour with no benefits. Must have some computer knowledge, must be a Registered Voter in Mason County and must be able to work with the voting public. Please send me a private message and I will get back with you.

I would like to explain a little bit about the Primary. All a Primary is to choose the candidate you want on the ballot in the November election. You have to choose a Party because all running for Democratic Offices are on one ballot and all running for Republican is on the other ballot. In November all parties are one one ballot. You can vote however you want in November and no one knows what party or candidate you voted for. With all that being said if you are wanting to vote for local candidates you have to vote on the Republican ballot. The Republican Primary will choose who Mason County’s next Sheriff will be.
