The Friends of the Mason Library cordially invite you
to attend our Storybook Character Masquerade Ball!
All the proceeds from ticket sales will be used for the ongoing renovation of Mason’s Library. There are so many exciting changes and updates taking place there!.
Come early and bring the little ones (there is no charge for children under 16) to enjoy the fantasy land we are creating with the help of Mason School art students! Or come later for “date night” and dance the night away! We plan on having a photo booth, face painting, costume contest, door prizes….and more.
We have chosen the theme of “Alice in Wonderland” for this event, and will be transforming the VFW into a magical space of mushrooms, tea parties and talking flowers! Dressing as an “Alice” character, however, is not necessary. Dress up as any favorite storybook character….or come as you are!
Though we will be providing snacks and appetizers, full meals and beverages will be available at additional charge through the VFW Canteen. The VFW has graciously provided us the use of their facility at no charge, and we would like to promote them and their food/beverage service.
Tickets will be available at the door of the VFW at 5:00 p.m. on the day of the event (April 27 , 2024). CASH ONLY, PLEASE! Tickets will also be available on a cash basis through the Mason Library beginning in April.
We are hoping this event will not only raise funds for the Library renovation, but will also be a community event that brings together all of Mason’s talented students, teachers, merchants, musicians, artists and volunteers!
