Patrolman Haydn Demers-St. Hilaire has been presented with a Letter of Commendation for his swift actions on May 13th, 2025. While off duty, Patrolman Demers–St. Hilaire observed a garage attached to a residence engulfed in flames. Patrolman Demers–St. Hilaire responded to the residence where he alerted the occupants of the home, enabling them to evacuate the residence safely, then contacted emergency services. Patrolman Demers-St. Hilaire’s actions on May 13th undoubtedly saved lives and prevented further loss of property. These actions by Patrolman Demers-St. Hilaire are a testament to his character and commitment to the safety of our residents, on and off duty. Congratulations Patrolman Demers-St. Hilaire!
