The Massillon Police Department is proud to introduce our newest K9 team member, K9 Luka. Luka is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd, and is partnered with Ptl. Anthony #175. The two officially began K9 training today with the Police K-9 Association.

K9 Luka is a dual-purpose K9, and will be trained in patrol functions and narcotics detection work. Over the coming weeks, Luka and his handler will be working side by side to build a strong bond and develop the skills needed to serve our community and surrounding areas.

Please join us in welcoming K9 Luka, and wishing him and Ptl. Anthony good luck as they start their journey together. 🐾

We’re asking for your support to help get K9 Lennox outfitted with a ballistic vest to provide him with critical protection while he’s out working in our community.

Donations to this campaign go towards ballistic vests for working K9s like ours, and will help K9 Lennox get the protection he needs even faster.

We want to assure everyone that K9 Lennox has not been unprotected while working. He is currently utilizing a ballistic vest that previously belonged to a retired K9 of similar size. This campaign will allow Lennox to be issued his own properly fitted ballistic vest. Thank you for your continued support of our K9 Unit! 🐾
