Recognizing Fire Prevention Week in Aberdeen! At last night’s Township Council meeting, Mayor Greg Cannon and the Township Council welcomed members of Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Company #1 and Aberdeen Township Hose & Chemical Co. #1 to present a proclamation recognizing October 4–10 as Fire Prevention Week.

This year’s theme, “Charge Into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower,” highlights the importance of safely charging and handling lithium-ion batteries.

Last week, members of both fire companies also gathered at the Town Hall Fire Memorial to honor their fellow firefighters who have passed.

🚒 Thank you to all our volunteer firefighters for their continued dedication and service to Aberdeen Township!
