🚒 Mathis Fire was paged out for a structure fire at 0550 and had it out by 0715 we would like to thank Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Department and Swinney Switch VFD for the assistance this morning 🚒

TCEQ has signed an emergency order pausing releases from Lake Corpus Christi, effective immediately. This is an important step toward protecting our lakes and the water supply communities across South Texas depend on.

I appreciate the entire legislative delegation along the Choke Canyon and Lake Corpus Christi system for working together to get this across the finish line. We will continue working together to protect our region’s water supply and the communities that depend on it.
