The City of Mathis EMS is staffed 24/7 by highly trained and state certified EMTs/Paramedics. Our service area is approximately 200 square miles in San Patricio County. Mathis EMS responds to 911 emergencies for the City of Mathis, Lake City, Hidden Acres, Lakeshore Gardens, Lakeside and the town of Old San Patricio in San Patricio County, Texas. We also respond to Lake Corpus Christi, Sunrise Beach and provide mutual aid in San Patricio County, Live Oak County, Bee County, Jim Wells County and Nueces County.
The City of Mathis department is currently staffed with one ambulance 24/7 and is equipped with 3 BLS/ALS ambulances with MICU capability. Our ambulances are equipped with state of the art equipment in order to provide the best quality of prehospital care under the supervision of Medical Director Dr. Alicia Hart MD. Mathis EMS is certified through Texas Department of State Health Services.
