For over 175 years (1838), Ned’s Point Lighthouse has guided sailors in Buzzards Bay and has been a destination for people around the world.

Now, it is in need of repairs, and we need your help! Lighthouse opens at the discretion of USCG-A Flotilla 63

Last nite at Neds. The lights are a testament to whom made them. None have ever made it to xmas. Harsh weather since Thanxgiving.. but still going ... lets leave them up !!!

Limited Edition Ned’s Point Lighthouse Lithographs – Now Available

The Friends of Ned’s Point Lighthouse are proud to offer a limited series of lithographs created from the original pen and ink drawing by artist M. McGee (2022).

Each lithograph is signed and numbered by the artist, with only 10 of each size available, including clearly marked editions from 1 of 10 through 10 of 10.
Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

It will be the LAST tour of 2025! After this date, work begins to prepare the lighthouse for the 2026 season.

Tours are conducted by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 6-3, the oldest continuous Flotilla in America.

🔔 Reminders for Visitors:
• No flip flops, loose clothing, or backpacks
• Children must be at least 4 feet tall and accompanied by an adult

💡 Tours are free, but donations are greatly appreciated to support ongoing restoration of this historic ICON / ATON.

Neds Point Light tour this Saturday September 13, 9am - 1p. Conducted by USCG Flotilla 6-3. Come see some history and how important lighthouses were before GPS and Cellphones. Take a walk up and see Buzzards Bay. The topography is outstanding

No Flip Flops, children must be accompanied by an adult. Children must be at least 48 inches high, No backpacks, or loose clothing.

Neds Point Lighthouse tour this Thursday 28 August 3-7 P. Weather looks good. See the lamp room and the catwalk. No flip flops, backpacks or loose clothing. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Tour is conducted by the USCG Flotilla 6-3 the oldest and continuously active Flotilla in America. Since 1838 giving mariners the light of direction.

Afternoon / Early evening tour of Neds Point LightHouse. August 13, 3P to 7p. Ends promptly at 7P for the lamp has to do its work and cannot be obstructed. USCG Flotilla 6-3 will conduct the tour, the Oldest USCG Flotilla in America.

Reminder no flip flops, loose clothing, bagpacks. Children must be at least 4 feet tall and accompanied by an adult.
