For over 175 years (1838), Ned’s Point Lighthouse has guided sailors in Buzzards Bay and has been a destination for people around the world.

Join the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 6-3 for guided tours of the historic Ned’s Point Lighthouse tomorrow from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Please note:
• No flip-flops or loose-fitting clothing
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
• Children must be at least 48 inches tall to participate

Neds LIght tour Saturday 11 July 8am -11 am ish .. last week we had to cancel the afternoon tour due to extreme heat in the lamproom. So we went to see the cows cooling off on Naushon Island, one of the Elizabeth Islands.

So come early this Saturday before the lamproom gets cooking and we need to close due to the heat. Then go to Naushon !!
Tour conducted by USCG A 6-3.

Neds Point Light will be closed today for tours due to the extreme heat index in the tower and the lamp room.
It will be rescedualed at al later date.

Neds Point Lighthouse 1st Tour of 2026. June 20, 9am-1pm
We will have 14 tours this year including weekdays in July and August.

Children must be 48 inches high, no loose clothing, no flip flops.

Bring your lighthouse passport if you would like to have it stamped.

Neds Point Lighthouse is $ 16000 away from the exterior being restored and finished painting. The cupola, outer lamp room, catwalk and the white rock outer structure itself.

Lets get it done. 32 individuals give $ 500 and we are there.

Ned's Point Lighthouse 2026 Tours

MATTAPOISETT — Ned’s Point Lighthouse is soon opening for the summer season, with tours from June through October.

First tour of 2026 will be on Saturday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July tours will be held on the first from 3-7 p.m. and the 11th and 18th from 8 a.m. to noon.
Aug. 1 from 8 to noon, and Aug. 5, 12 and 26 from 3-7 p.m.
Tours will run from 3-7 p.m. on Sept. 2 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 19. The final day will be Oct. 1 from 2-6 p.m.

All tour dates are subject to change according to the weather or at the discretion of the light keeper. No flip flops or loose clothing are allowed, and children under 13 must be at least 48 inches tall and accompanied by an adult.
No food or drinks allowed in the lighthouse.

NO! this is not the new Neds Point Light.... !! Does anyone know where this thing is... Ai .....couldn't find it. !!
