MARK YOUR CALENDARS-- the Eric Jay Dolin Author Talk has finally been rescheduled! Join us on Wednesday, September 16th at 5:30pm to attend.

Acclaimed author Eric Jay Dolin will discuss his 2022 publication "Rebels at Sea: Privateering in the American Revolution", and hold a Q&A with attendees. “Rebels at Sea” takes on the heroic story of the founding of the U.S. Navy during the Revolution that has been told many times – yet often missing from maritime histories of the period is the ragtag fleet of private vessels that were, in fact, critical to American victory. Check out his books at the library!

This program is supported by a grant from the Mattapoisett Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

The first meeting, on Wednesday, September 9th at 6pm, will be dedicated to choosing which fantasy books this group will read over the next few months.
