As we enter into May, Crestdale has a lot to be thankful for and celebrate! We want to start this week off by lifting up and thanking our amazing cafeteria staff and school nurse who work tirelessly each day to keep our students and staff well fed and healthy. Thank you for all that you do each day!

Last week, Governor Josh Stein officially proclaimed March 2026 as Arts in Our Schools Month across North Carolina—recognizing that dance, music, theatre arts, and visual arts are essential elements of a complete, well‑rounded education.

Arts education doesn’t just spark creativity—it ignites and engages learners personally, helping students build self-confidence, strengthen independence, and grow in empathy and compassion.
