Lytle Park and Pool A public park and pool managed by the Mattoon Township. Families or groups can rent the pavilions for FREE. The park is free and open from dawn until dusk.

Lytle Park is located in Mattoon, IL and has 6 tennis courts, numerous playground structures, a climbing wall, picnic tables, corn hole, bocce ball, pavilions, a swimming pool, and one unique oil well. Reservations must be made through https://lytlepark.com/pavilion-rental-application/ at least a week in advance and are on a first come, first serve. Lytle Pool is one of the largest public pools i

n Illinois and is protected by American Red Cross-trained lifeguards. The pool includes a large slide, diving boards, a lap area, and play structures for children. It's zero depth, with a vinyl lining. The pool is open every day of the summer, Monday through Sunday from 11:30 to 7:45 PM. Please follow our page or visit our website for opening and closing dates.
