You could call it “seed money” for a new greenhouse at Maumee Intermediate School!

A recent $10,000 donation from Panther Pride Foundation will enhance the environmental education of 4th and 5th-graders, who will “grow” their knowledge of plants and nature as a result.

Plans are for the new greenhouse to be installed over the summer!!

The Panther Pride Foundation was proud to present a $10,000 grant to support the Environmental Club at Maumee Intermediate School!

The funding will help bring a new greenhouse to life this May and continue the important work of maintaining and enhancing the school prairie.

We were honored to have Dr. Kevin L. Alexander ’69, Panther Pride Foundation President, and Mrs. Ann Glowacki ’89, Principal of Maumee Intermediate School, join in celebrating this exciting investment in hands-on learning.

We also want to recognize and celebrate Mrs. Troiani who is retiring soon after serving many years as the club’s advisor. Her passion has inspired countless students.

As we thank Mrs. Troiani for her dedication, we’re excited to welcome Mr. Magoun as the new club advisor. The future is bright (and green!) for the young environmental leaders.

Stay tuned as we watch this project take root and bloom! 🌿
