City of Maxwell The city of Maxwell is a small gem centrally located between Ames, Marshalltown, Ankeny, and Des Moines. Home of the famous Old Settlers Celebration.

The City of Maxwell's page is a place for current citizens and prospective citizens to communicate directly with Maxwell's city government.
