It’s been a busy week of learning at Mayer Elementary! 🐾❤️💙

🚒 On October 13, firefighters visited our school for a fire prevention assembly, helping our Wildcats learn important ways to stay safe. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with our students!

On October 14, our 5th and 6th graders walked to the Mayer Recreation Center to hear Holocaust survivor Dirk Van Leeven share his experiences. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from his firsthand account and reflect on the importance of kindness, courage, and remembering history.

Our Wildcats asked thoughtful questions and showed respect throughout the visit. We are so proud of how well they represented Mayer Elementary! 🐾
