Village of Mayfield Water Conservation Notice

The Village of Mayfield is asking residents to please conserve water whenever possible. With the warmer weather, we are seeing higher water demand from activities such as filling pools, watering gardens, and other outdoor use.
The Village continues to monitor our water infrastructure and is scheduling upcoming water repairs. Current leaks, combined with increased usage, are placing additional strain on the water system.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in limiting non-essential water use during this time. Small steps—such as reducing lawn and garden watering, delaying pool filling when possible, and checking for household leaks—can make a big difference.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to maintain and improve the Village water system.

FORMAL PUBLIC NOTICE

Please be advised that the Village will be conducting a water line repair on School Street on Tuesday, June 2, beginning at 7:00 a.m. During the course of this work, water service may be temporarily interrupted for residents and properties located on the following streets:
· School Street (from First Avenue to the bridge)
· Candlewood Drive
· Lakeside Drive
· Curtain Avenue
· Haines Street
The full extent of any service disruption cannot be determined until the leak has been located and assessed. If conditions allow, the repair and any resulting interruption may be limited to a single day. A boil water advisory may be required, if warranted. Additional information will be provided in a subsequent posting.

The Budget Workshop is open to the public; however, public comment will not be permitted. Comments may be made during the regular meeting during the public comment portion.
