Thank you Lotus for the shoutout & for recognizing the dedication and the results of the Graves Co. Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office & all of our MDT community partners in protecting and supporting our children. Grateful for our office’s continued partnership with Lotus & all we’ve achieved together!
Our Children’s Advocacy Center is based on a multidisciplinary team approach. This means we partner with a team of skilled professionals who support children and families from crisis through long-term recovery.
The Graves County Multidisciplinary Team has made remarkable progress in achieving safety, healing, and justice outcomes for survivors of child abuse and their families. This past fiscal year, Graves County had nearly 14% more cases in the criminal justice system compared to other counties in our region, resulting 52 convictions.
Graves County Commonwealth's Attorney, Richie Kemp, shares “Being a part of the Graves County Multidisciplinary Team is one of the most important parts of my job. Working alongside Law Enforcement, Social Workers, Lotus Children’s Advocacy Center, and other partners helps us ensure that Graves County is a safer place for children and families. We hang a banner in our monthly meetings to remind us of our goals and purpose – Safety, Healing, and Justice. The dedication to and success achieving these goals is unmatched and it is an honor to serve this county as part of the Graves Multidisciplinary Team.”
Thank you to the Graves County Commonwealth's Attorney Office and the entire multidisciplinary team. Your enduring commitment, compassion, and collaboration are key to creating communities free from violence!
