Great news, Eagle Country! Mayflower Police Department is now accepting applications for a Patrol Officer. Benefits include a salary range of $47,500 to $49,067 annually depending on qualifications, certifications, and experience. In addition, we offer the following: A take- home vehicle if you reside within fifteen (15) miles of the city, Employer paid health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance for employee. In addition, the City of Mayflower will pay for a percentage of costs to add spouse and/or children. A hero remembered never dies! Thank you for your service to the citizens of Faulkner County, Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Hans Fifer!

Today, we honor the life, legacy, and service of Deputy Hans Fifer. On this date in 2013, Deputy Fifer tragically passed away in the line of duty after suffering a fatal medical event during a Special Response Team training. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. A hero remembered never dies! End of Watch: April 8, 2013.

Mayflower Police Department is excited to partner with all other law enforcement agencies around the county again this year at Battle of the Badges Tip-a-Cop Texas Roadhouse 2026. This is a Tip-a-Cop Showdown where all law enforcement agencies across the entire State of Arkansas are going head-to-head at their local Texas Roadhouse locations. Help show the entire state why Faulkner County is the best! We hope you will join us on April 14, 2026, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, for this incredible event in support of the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Arkansas! Representatives from all local law enforcement agencies around the county will be waiting tables at Texas Roadhouse, 650 S Amity Road, Conway, Arkansas! All proceeds go directly to support Special Olympics Arkansas!
