Good afternoon, Mayflower Band Family,

We will have our next Band Booster/Parent Meeting on Friday, June 19, at 6:00 PM in the Mayflower Band Hall.

This meeting will focus on electing a new Band Booster President, discussing fundraisers and other logistical matters concerning the marching season, and addressing other important topics as we prepare for the upcoming school year.

Good Afternoon Mayflower Band Family,

Tomorrow evening, May 22, at 7:30 PM, come out to *Conway High School* and enjoy an evening of great music performed by the Conway Community Band. The ensemble will include Mayflower Band graduate Emily Goodrich and Mr. Clark.

If you are able to attend, we would love to see you there and support live music in our community!

Good Afternoon Mayflower Band Family,

If there are any current 5th or 6th grade students interested in joining beginning band next school year who have not yet completed a mouthpiece test, Mr. Clark will be available next week during school hours for students to come to the band room and complete the test.

It has been exciting to see so many students interested in enrolling in beginning band, and we look forward to meeting the rest of you soon!

Good morning, Mayflower Band Family,

This is a correction of a previous post, my apologies for any inconveniences.

We will have our next Band Booster/Parent Meeting on TUESDAY, MAY 5TH at 5:30 PM in the Mayflower Band Hall.

This meeting will focus on the summer band schedule for high school students, the upcoming fall football and marching contest schedule, proposed adjustments to the band handbook and discipline policy, and other important topics as we prepare for the next school year.

Good evening, Mayflower Band Family,

We received some new hardware from our concert season!

Our First Division Sight-Reading plaque, earned at the Region Concert Assessment in March, has officially made its way to the band hall. We are excited to see it on our shelves and look forward to adding many more honors to the Mayflower Band Program in the years to come.

Good Afternoon Mayflower Band Family,

Today, the Mayflower Concert Band traveled to Searcy High School to compete in the State Concert Contest, marking the first time in our program’s history to perform at this event.

Following their performance, the band earned:
• 1st Division (Superior Rating)
• 9th Place Overall in the State Concert Contest

With these results, the Mayflower Band has achieved another historic milestone, earning a First Division rating at a state or region concert event for the first time in program history.
