To say this was a dream come true is an understatement. I've dreamed of going on this hunt my whole life! DIY drop camp moose hunt. We had the most epic trip that we could ask for, from hearing wolves to seeing multiple Grizzlies to harvesting a giant bull moose for myself. Nikki and I logged over 48 miles hiking and looking at country and terrain and different game in what some may call un walkable country. Still in awe of the size of these awesome creatures. Note to self and others Do Not shoot a moose 2.33 miles from camp and in knee deep water, "Bad idea!" Unless he's a 62inch monster, then it's kinda worth it! Would I do it again? "Hell Yeah , everyday!!" Just make sure you have alot of help. Thanks to Chad, Nikki and Clay, we managed the most ass whipping of a pack out that I've ever seen. The rest is history and I can't wait to be back! &h with
