The Trenton Barracks are a great way to introduce American History to kids...worked for me
We had a very special guest at Trenton Barracks Founder's Day earlier this month!
Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli came to the event to present the Old Barracks with a joint legislative resolution which recognizes the preservation work being that is being undertaken at the museum in preparation for the 250th anniversary. This resolution was put forward by the Assemblyman Verrelli, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson, and Senator Shirley K. Turner, and signed by Senate President Nicholas P. Scutari and General Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin. We are grateful for their support, and for our partnership with the State of New Jersey. Without it, continued preservation of the building would not be possible.
