The Maysville Endowment Fund was created in 2022 and quickly worked to establish our first grants in order to demonstrate the commitment we hold to investing in this community. As the principle in our account has grown - due to this generous community - we are now in the EXCITING position to begin more consistently reinvesting in our area through local grants.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! The Endowment Fund Committee is excited to share we will granting out $10,000 to project(s) serving the Maysville community.

Funding Criteria
Any project serving the Maysville community is eligible for up to $10,000 during the Winter 2026 granting round. Preference will be given to projects that have long-term impact on the community. The Endowment Board seeks to provide funds to projects that have a sustainable plan in place.

Maysville, a town rich in history and community spirit, is preparing to commemorate the profound impact of its dedicated individuals with a new landmark.

The Maysville Endowment Fund Board proudly announces the creation of a stunning monument, crafted from black granite, to be displayed at the DeKalb County Courthouse. This monument will serve as a permanent tribute, etching the names of those who have left an enduring mark on our beloved community.

The decision to construct this monument stems from a deep desire to honor and celebrate the contributions of individuals who have selflessly devoted their time, resources, and talents to the betterment of Maysville. Whether through leadership in civic duties, support for educational initiatives, contributions to cultural enrichment, or steadfast advocacy for community causes, these individuals have exemplified the spirit of Maysville.

Donations of $1000 or more not only support the creation of the monument but also offer the chance to recognize a particular person or family whose impact deserves special acknowledgment. This act of philanthropy ensures that the monument not only serves as a symbol of gratitude but also as a dynamic reflection of community support and unity. The $1000 donations allow for one line to be etched on the monument. We ask that they are names only and no businesses at this time.

As we look forward to the unveiling of this monumental tribute in 2025, we invite all residents, past and present, to join us in celebrating the rich tapestry of Maysville's history. Let us come together to honor those who have shaped our community, to inspire future generations, and to reaffirm our commitment to preserving Maysville's legacy of generosity and community spirit.

St. Joseph Beverage has generously donated items to be auctioned off to raise money for the Maysville Endowment Fund!!

In order to bid on these items you have to be following the page tagged above! Please let me know if you would like to be tagged when the first item goes live!

Each item will have 48 hours to bid and the last comment at the end of the 48 hours will be the winner! We will start on the smallest items moving up to the larger items! There is some good stuff here, especially for some man caves!
