The Lewisburg Volunteer Fire Department is deeply grateful for the generous donation presented by the May's Lick Lions Club last evening in memory of our first Fire Chief, Don Tumey. We were thankful for the Lion’s opening their clubhouse to us and providing a delicious meal as their meeting time began.

Mr. Tumey was a dedicated servant to the Lewisburg community throughout his life and was equally committed to our neighboring community of May’s Lick through his longtime membership in the May’s Lick Lions Club. His legacy of service, leadership, and community involvement continues to inspire us today.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the May’s Lick Lions Club for honoring Chief Tumey’s memory in such a meaningful way and for their continued support of the Lewisburg and May’s Lick Volunteer Fire Departments.

Kentucky Highway #11 will be shut down for several hours due to an accident and investigation. The alternate route will be through Lewisburg. Please make changes as necessary when traveling through the area and use caution.

Join us for an evening of great food, community fellowship, and the opportunity to meet the candidates running to represent our area. This informal event allows residents to talk with candidates, ask questions, and learn more about those seeking public office.

🎤 Candidates in attendance will be invited to briefly introduce themselves and share remarks with the community before or during the cake auction.

Grilled Pork Tenderloins, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Corn Salad, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Green Beans, Mac & Cheese, Onion Rings, French Fries, Dessert, and Drink.
