It appears Mason County will have a wet, hot, and humid week-end. If you live in a flood prone area please be aware of rapidly rising water. Do not drive through water covering the roadway (Turn around don't drown).

We have no been included in at Tornado Watch until 9pm. Please keep your favorite TV station on, weather radio, or radio on to monitor the changing weather conditions. A watch means the atmosphere is ripe for tornados to develop. Please be aware and stay safe.

Once again we are included in a "Slight Risk" for severe weather this afternoon and evening. Strong winds, Large Hail, and Heavy Rain are likely.
Tuesdays thunder storm was not warned by the National Weather Service. Mostly trees down and heavy rain was received in the south part of Mason County..

The National Weather Service has just included Mason County in a Tornado Watch until 9:00pm tonight. This means if we experience a severe thunderstorm it could develop a tornado.. Please be extra aware of weather conditions today and this evening...

We are in for more rain today and Tuesday. If you live in low lying flood prone areas be extra cautious. The ground is saturated and the one inch of rain predicted may very well be enough for you to experience a flooding event.

Be very careful today of water ponding roadways, land sliding, and debris in the road. If water is over the road "Turn around don't drown".. Be safe.

Today the temp. will drop to the 20's by evening. The winds will be 30 mph gusting to 45 mph. Less than 1/2 inch of snow is expected however, roads may become slick. Please be careful!
