Recently the Office of Emergency Services went to the MAYVILLE Lakeside youth program and talked about some fire safety and fire extinguisher use, and had the kids use a fire extinguisher digital training system. If you think this training system can be used to help educate your group, please reach out to our office.

Recently members of the fire service and the Chautauqua County Haz Mat Response team completed an OFPC class in decontamination procedures and set up.

Today Chautauqua County Technical Rescue participated in a great drill set up by 1st Battalion deputy coordinator Mike Keddie, for a battalion wide auto extrication drill. The drill was held at Murphy Training Grounds and nd many cars were on hand to cut, tear and learn on. Thank you to all who participated

Today six members from the Chautauqua County Technical Rescue Team participated in day 1 of the annual NYS DHSES technical rescue conference. Much more to come.

Today Chautauqua County Technical Rescue Team demonstrated the equipment we have that has and can be used in a large animal rescue, to a local 4h group. The team exists to assist all in unique emergencies. we set up several configurations of our Paratech Struts for various lifting configurations.
