Regular board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the library boardroom, located on the 2nd floor of the Carnegie Building, unless indicated otherwise.

Fashion Show sign-ups are still happening until Thursday, June 11th! However, rehearsals begin this Monday, June 1st. Sign up, practice your walk, and rule the runway.

The 2026 Summer Reading Challenge has… BEGUN!
Come on over to the library to sign up, collect your reading log, and your little planting pot to plant your seed and read! You can log your reading on either your physical reading log or we can help sign you up on the Beanstack app where you can track and log your reading as well.

YOUTHS:
Read the amount of minutes assigned to your age category and halfway through you can win small prizes. Once the challenge is complete you have a chance to win coupons to Panda Express, Raising Cane’s, the WindyCity Thunderbolts, etc. The reader in each age category who reads the most will win a $100 gift card!

ADULTS:
Read for a total of 30 days throughout the challenge duration. You can check in on the halfway mark to win your progress prize and after 30 days of reading you can come in to receive your completion prize! All who complete the challenge will be entered into a raffle to win the grand prize…

The halfway point for everyone is June 15! Everyone… let’s get reading! 📖 🏆🎉🪴

El Desafío de Lectura de Verano 2026 ha... ¡EMENZADO!

¡Ven a la biblioteca para registrarte, recoge tu registro de lectura y tu pequeña maceta para plantar tu semilla y leer! Puede registrar su lectura en su registro de lectura físico o podemos ayudarle a registrarse en la aplicación Beanstack, donde también puede rastrear y registrar su lectura.

JÓVENES:
Lea la cantidad de minutos asignados a su categoría de edad y a mitad de camino puede ganar pequeños premios, una vez que se complete el desafío, tiene la oportunidad de ganar cupones para Panda Express, Raising Cane’s, WindyCity Thunderbolts, etc. ¡El lector en cada categoría de edad que lea más ganará una tarjeta de regalo de 100$!

ADULTOS:
Leer durante un total de 30 días a lo largo de la duración del desafío. ¡Puedes registrarte a mitad de camino para ganar tu premio de progreso y después de 30 días de lectura puedes venir a recibir tu premio de finalización!
