Maywood Public Library District Our mission is to provide the best possible resources to our wonderful community! The Library is also a repository of local Maywood history.

The Mission of the Maywood Public Library District is to maintain excellence in providing the best possible materials in regard to educational, technological, and recreational uses for its community. The Library’s focus is to continue to research, evaluate, and generate outreach programs for the benefit of the Maywood community. September is library card sign-up month! This year, all patrons who sign up for a library card will receive a Brookfield Zoo Pass while supplies last. The zoo pass admits children and adults alike and covers general entrance fees. It does not allow entrance to the zoo’s alternate exhibitions, and patrons must pay for parking.

All children who register for a library card will receive a picture book along with their Brookfield Zoo Pass while supplies last.

To obtain a card, please present a valid picture ID with a Maywood address on it and one additional proof of residence.

A library card hits all the right notes! Come get your card and listen to the animals as you read! 📚🎺🐒🎶
