It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Freeholder David L. Ganz.

David Ganz served as Mayor of Fair Lawn from 1999 to 2006 and on the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders from 2003 to 2020. David was an accomplished attorney and author. He practiced law with Ganz & Sivin, LLP and Ganz & Hollinger, P.C. and had written over 30 books on a variety of fields. David was also a well-accomplished expert on numismatics. While president of the American Numismatic Association and appointed to the Citizens Commemorative Coin Advisory Committee, David advocated for the implementation of the 50 State Quarters Program. David Ganz was a brilliant and dedicated public servant who's legacy shaped Bergen County and all he encountered for the better.
