🚨FUGITIVE FOUND🚨
A 35-year-old man wanted in Nevada for felony robbery, battery by strangulation, coercion constituting domestic violence, and domestic battery is in custody following an investigation by the Cook County Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
On May 21, task force officers were contacted by U.S. Marshals Nevada Violent Offender Task Force to assist with locating Jonathan Costantino who had fled Nevada and may be staying in Melrose Park. Officers also learned that he may be driving a 2026 gray Kia with Nevada plates. On May 27, officers went to the 2100 block of Division Street in Melrose Park and located the gray Kia in the parking lot. Officers set up surveillance, and around 7:10 a.m. officers saw a man who fit Costantino’s description leaving the building and walking toward the gray Kia. Officers approached the man, positively identified him as Costantino, and took him into custody.
The public is reminded that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
