The 2025 Annual Homeless Assessment Report released by HUD shows that homelessness in the U.S. declined between 2024 and 2025. This marks the first overall decrease seen in almost ten years.

Illinois must protect homeless and housing services. Outreach teams and social workers provide life-changing support, housing assistance, and emergency care every day. Contact your legislators and ask for the HOME Illinois funding to be restored to the FY25 level!
