LINKcat (our library catalog) will have a new look starting Friday, April 17, 2026.

-During the transition (April 13 through April 16), LINKcat and the LINKcat app will be unavailable, and services will be limited at library locations. During this offline period, due dates on library items will be extended to ensure minimal impact for users.

- A number of features will be added to LINKcat once the new version is unveiled on April 17, including the ability to to manage Overdrive/Libby checkouts and holds from within the LINKcat dashboard. Library users will be able to manage all of their physical and electronic items in one place instead of needing to navigate to another website or app.

WE HAVE A FANTASTIC NEW QUILT DISPLAY - BABY & JUVENILE QUILTS
Local quilters, loosely known as the Material Girls, have assembled some of their old & new baby and juvenile quilts to decorate the walls of our favorite library.
Many different techniques are on display. It’s interesting to see how the color and style designs have changed over the years. Most of these quilts are machine pieced and the top stitching was also done by machine.
As you can see, most of these have been made for and lovingly used by grandchildren of the quilters. They all have a story to tell.
We hope you enjoy seeing them as much as they enjoyed making them.
Stop by the library to take a look or visit our website for more photos of this beautiful collection. mazolibrary.org

It's A Crime - Mystery Book Club Our book for February is These Silent Woods by Kimi Cunningham Grant, first published in 2021, is a psychological thriller. It explores the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as the lengths that a man will go to to remain with his daughter.

A suspense novel about a father, Cooper, and his young daughter, Finch, living in isolation in the Appalachian mountains to hide from Cooper's past . Their secluded life is upended when their annual supply drop from a friend fails to arrive, and a stranger enters their woods, forcing them to confront the secrets that drove them into hiding. The book explores themes of family, protection, and the lengths one will go to for loved ones, with a tense, atmospheric plot that builds to a surprising ending.

If you would like to be added to 'It's a Crime!' e-mail list, please call the library at 608-795-2104 or email [email protected] We will alert you to any changes in the meeting schedule or other updates.
