Every 11 minutes represents more than a statistic, it represents a life, a family, and a community forever changed by su***de.

Su***de prevention is something we can all be part of.
Check in with the people around you.
Take concerns seriously.
Listen with compassion.
And never be afraid to help someone connect with support.

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988.

You don't have to face a difficult moment alone.

Behind every statistic is a person - a friend, coworker, neighbor, or loved one who may be carrying more than we realize.

Thoughts of su***de can affect anyone, and too often, people struggle in silence.
A simple check-in, a listening ear, or a reminder that someone matters can open the door to hope and support.

We don't have to have the right words.
We just have to be willing to reach out.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Help is available 24/7.

Sometimes, making a difference starts with something as simple as a conversation.

Check in. Speak up. Listen without judgement.
Remind someone they matter. Your words and your willingness to connect may have more impact than you realize.

Your voice mattersโ€”and so does theirs.
Start the conversation. Be the difference.

If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Who Is Narcan For?

Opioid overdoses can impact people from all walks of life, often in ways we don't expect. That's why carrying Narcan isn't about assumptions or judgment. It's about being prepared to help someone in a critical moment.

This Opioid Awareness Day, let's replace stigma with compassion, education, and action. You never know whose life could depend on someone having Narcan nearby.

๐Ÿ’œ Awareness saves lives. Compassion saves lives. Narcan saves lives.

National Overdose Awareness Day:

Each year on August 31st, we remember those we have lost to overdose, empathize with survivors, and stand with individuals and families affected by substance use. Every conversation about prevention, treatment, and recovery could make a difference in someoneโ€™s life.

The drug supply has become increasingly dangerous and unpredictable. Illicit fentanyl is being mixed with other powerful substances, making overdose risks higher than ever. Many of these substances cannot be seen, tasted, or smelled, and a single pill or powder can contain a deadly combination.

โ€ข Learn the facts- Visit VOID raises awareness of the dangers of illicit fentanyl.
โ€ข Carry naloxone and know how to use it- Contact your local health department, pharmacy, tribal clinic or the Recovery is Possible Team to acquire free naloxone
โ€ข Reduce stigma by supporting those seeking help
โ€ข Share accurate information with your community
โ€ข Remember that recovery is possible

On this National Overdose Awareness Day, let's turn awareness into action. Together, we can save lives through education, prevention, compassion, and hope. ๐Ÿ’œ
