Pvt. John Rosson enlisted today as a split op 13J "fire Control Specialist". He will be going this Summer to Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. He then will come back to his Senior year McAlester Public Schools - MPS. Please, help me welcome him to the Team!

This is Royce Dickey from Eufaula HS. He joined the National Guard Family yesterday. He joined as a 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer. He wanted a skill set to bring back home.

SGT Perkins, a combat medic specialist, joined the Guard in 2019 in search of "a greater purpose, something to push me completely out of my comfort zone. As a medic in the Army, I want to be the person to help my fellow Soldiers on what could be their worst day. I want to be the one to get them back home. I want to be that dependable and reliable leader for younger Soldiers."

I had the privilege of teaching CPR to the junior class at McAlester Public Schools - MPS a couple of weeks ago, aiding them in meeting their capstone requirements for graduation next year. I take pleasure in teaching these young people a skill that I hope they'll never have to use, but if they do, perhaps they'll recall something I taught them. McAlester Public Schools - MPS

Congratulations Seven Nave! Seven is a Junior at McAlester Public Schools - MPS. He will attend Basic Training this summer at Fort Moore,GA.
Once completion of BCT he will return home and attend his senior year. After graduation he will then ship to his AIT(job school). He joined as a 19D Calvary Scout. Welcome to the family!

Had an awesome drill weekend with these HS students that have already enlisted. They are in our RSP program. RSP is where they come train and get paid before basic training.
