RankOne forms and yearly physical:

Starting in 2026, every student in grades 7-12 will need to fill two eligibility forms out each year. Those forms are labeled
* OSSAA Eligibility form 1
* OSSAA Eligibility form 2

Each student should have all sections of the RankOne forms completed (will show each section green and approved) before they will be allowed to compete.

Returning students may login and complete forms now.

Each year, students in Band and Athletics are required to get a new physical.
Athletes grades 9-12 need to have these completed by July 1.
Athletes grades 7-8 need to have these completed by August 1.

The physical form needs to be turned in to the Athletic Department Office at Brumley Gymnasium. Student and Parent/Guardian signatures are required on the hard copy of the physical form.

To log into RankOne, the students ID number will be needed.(contact the athletic department office or students attending school to get the student ID number). New students to the district (Before July 1) will need to come to the athletic department office and be assigned a temporary ID number. Please complete these forms ASAP and be cleared to go!

The McAlester High School Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony is Friday, May 22, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Southeast Expo Center. Doors will open at 6:00pm. MPS will be utilizing metal dectors and requiring clear bags for the event.

The​ MPS Bookmobile will be running Monday through Thursday each week beginning June 8, 2026, serving all MPS students who have completed PreK–12th grade.

Students of all ages are invited to visit Bookmobile stops throughout the summer to check out and return books. The Bookmobile offers a wide variety of reading materials, including picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, nonfiction, young adult titles, and Spanish-language books. We have something for every reader!

Students may return books at any Bookmobile stop and continue checking out new books all summer long. All books will be due back at the start of the new school year.

Please refer to the attached schedule to find a stop near you and plan your visits. Encourage your child to keep reading all summer and make the Bookmobile part of your weekly routine!

At McAlester Public Schools, the safety and security of our students and staff remain a top priority. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, all students in grades 5–12 will be required to use clear backpacks.

This policy is one proactive step the District is taking to help maintain a safe and secure learning environment while still allowing students to carry their necessary school and personal items.
