Last night didn’t bring the outcome we were working toward, but it did remind me of something far more important the incredible people of Oklahoma.
Over the last several months, I’ve had the privilege of traveling our state, visiting communities big and small, and meeting people who care deeply about Oklahoma’s future. That is something no election result can ever take away.
To every person who voted for me, supported me, encouraged me, opened a door, hosted an event, made a phone call, put up a sign, or said a prayer on my behalf, thank you. Your belief in me means more than I can adequately express.
I am proud of the campaign we ran. We stayed true to who we are, worked hard, and built something that was fueled by faith, determination, and people not politics.
Though this race has come to an end, the relationships, friendships, and lessons from this journey will stay with me forever.
Thank you, Oklahoma, for allowing me to be part of your lives and your communities. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
