We want to live in a world where everybody understands what we are saying. We would rather live in a world where people understand us rather than in a world where we have power by having more knowledge than others. The Dark Ages are over. The clergy do not control the books and knowledge is free. Gutenberg began using the printing press in 1450. Wannabe Technocrats are the Clergy of the Dark Ages.
We are happy in a world of ideas and knowledge and the incredible freedom that we feel from being able to share those ideas with other like minded people. That is the world that we exist in. The Pew Research Center, an American think tank organization, defined "adult Millennials" as those who are 18 to 33 years old, born 1981–1996. According to them, the youngest Millennials are still "in their teens" with "no chronological end point set for them yet". Another chart by the organization lists the Millennial birth range as 1981–1998. In his book, Fast Future, author David Burstein describes Millennials' approach to social change as "pragmatic idealism," a deep desire to make the world a better place combined with an understanding that doing so requires building new institutions while working inside and outside existing institutions.
