MEDC was proud to participate in the Texas Industry Partnership (TIP) Grant presentation supporting the expansion of nursing education and workforce development in the Rio Grande Valley.

MEDC helped connect Texas A&M College of Nursing with Workforce Solutions Lower Rio, Rio South Texas ECDF, and the Texas A&M Foundation, while also bringing regional workforce and healthcare partners together to support collaborative solutions addressing the region’s growing nursing shortage.

This initiative will help strengthen the local healthcare workforce pipeline through expanded training opportunities and increased nursing education capacity right here in the RGV.
