✨Agreement made, culture built! ✨
Our DWE classrooms have officially wrapped up their Classroom Social Contracts, and we could not be prouder of our young leaders! 🤩
But what exactly is a classroom social contract?
It is way more than just a list of classroom rules!
💡Here is why these contracts are so powerful: Student-Created: Our students collaborated to decide exactly how they want to be treated and how they will treat others.
Built on Respect: It shifts the focus from “what not to do” to “how we can support each other.”
Shared Ownership: Because the kids helped write it, they take true pride in keeping our classroom a safe, kind, and focused place to learn.
When students have a voice in their environment, amazing things happen! Cheers to a year of community, teamwork, and mutual respect! ❤️

We had a great week connecting with each grade level during our assemblies! 💙❤️ These gatherings gave us the opportunity to introduce ourselves, share our roles, talk about how we can support our students, and make sure we are all on the same page as we begin the school year.

We are excited about the year ahead and, most importantly, excited to work together to make DWE an amazing place for our students! 🐾📚

Our DWE Diamondbacks were welcomed back with big smiles and lots of excitement from our amazing teachers and staff! 🍎🤩🥳
Our first day was filled with fun get-to-know-you activities, endless smiles, laughter, and plenty of back-to-school cheer. We’re ready to learn, grow, and make memories together!

The 2026-2027 school year is officially underway for us at DWE! 🏫❤️ While we did plenty of training this week, the best part was reconnecting, sharing daily treats, and creating memories together. We are incredibly grateful to our SPTSO, our DWE Admin, and our DWE Courtesy Committee for spoiling us and setting a wonderful tone for the year ahead. We’re ready for you, students! Let’s start the year off with a bang! 🚀✨
