Fall River Valley Fire Protection District Providing Emergency Services to the Fall River Valley We engage the community in our mission through progressive community outreach.

The mission of the Fall River Valley Fire Protection District is to provide protection of life, property, and the environment from the effects of fires, medical emergencies, and hazards. We will maintain a constant state of readiness to respond to all requests for services through training, maintenance of equipment, and a desire to serve our community.

This evening, September 3, 2024, the Volunteer Firefighters responded to several small spot fires along Day Rd and Highway 299, as well as a fire approximately half an acre in size along Highway 299. Thank you to the community members who pitched in to help contain the small spot fires before they could spread. We also extend a special thank you to our mutual aid partners: Shasta County Volunteer Fire Company 13 (Soldier Mountain), CAL FIRE Shasta-Trinity Unit/Shasta County Fire Department, CAL FIRE Lassen-Modoc Unit, and Lassen National Forest for their strong response and assistance.
