Vinton County Prosecuting Attorney, William L. Archer, Jr. and Vinton County Treasurer, Vicki Maxwell announce the next round of tax foreclosure sales.
The next sale will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the lobby of the Vinton County Courthouse, 100 East Main Street, McArthur, Ohio.
Terms of the sale-10 percent down day of the sale by cash or certified check, balance due upon confirmation of sale.
All Sheriff Sales operate under the doctrine of Caveat Emptor (Let the Buyer Beware). The Vinton County Sheriff makes no guarantee as to the status of title.
Since taking office in August 2023, Vinton County Prosecuting Attorney, William L. Archer, Jr. has worked diligently with Vinton County Treasurer, Vicki Maxwell to collect nearly half a million dollars in delinquent taxes owned to Vinton County. Prosecutor Archer added “it remains a priority of my office to pursue taxpayers who are severely delinquent in their back taxes.
