🚒 **Congratulations!** 🚒

Last night, we had the privilege of gathering at the firehouse for a special pinning ceremony to recognize four outstanding members of our fire family.

Please join us in congratulating:

👏 Deputy Chief Andrew Schaffran
👏 Firefighter/EMT Avi Azoulay
👏 Firefighter/EMT Clay Farrow
👏 Firefighter/EMT Preston Tubach

The pinning ceremony represents more than badge—it represents the commitment, sacrifice, training, and responsibility that come with serving our community.

We're proud of the work each of you puts in and the commitment you make to this department and our community.

Congratulations, and well deserved! 🚒🔥

🔥 LEVEL 1 FIRE RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT 🔥

Fire danger is HIGH — and our best advice is simple: skip the campfire.

While some campfires on private property may still be allowed under Level 1 restrictions, allowed does not mean recommended. In fact, we’d really rather you skip it.

If you choose to have a fire, ALL requirements must be met:

🔥 A permanent concrete or metal fire ring 3 feet or less in diameter
💧 An adequate extinguishing method immediately available
👀 The fire **must be attended at all times**

But please don’t let that give you a false sense of security. Dry fuels, wind, and changing conditions can turn a small backyard fire into something much bigger in a matter of minutes.

There will be plenty of time for campfires when conditions improve.

For now, help prevent the next wildfire before it starts.🔥🚒

Our hearts are with our Cascade Fire Department family, friends, and all those who served alongside them as they mourn an unexpected loss.

We are grateful for a life dedicated to helping others and for the lasting impact made on their community. From all of us, we extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Cascade Fire family.

Rest easy, firefighter. Your service will not be forgotten.

Hey Folks — someone doing a good deed dropping off yard debris at the bin at the McCall Fire Station accidentally left behind some keys. There appears to be a post office box key along with a few other utility keys.

If you think they might be yours, stop by the station or give us a call (208)469-0128 - Thanks!

If you’d still like to drop off, Donnelly Fire has bins available.

We’ll have our bins ready at McCall Fire starting May 23rd—thanks for your patience and for helping keep our community safe!
