The City of McCall is planning a new downtown mural and they want YOUR input! Take their survey below 🎨

Community Invited to Share Feedback on New Downtown Mural Designs

The City of McCall is asking the community to help choose the next downtown mural by sharing feedback on three proposed designs.

Earlier this year, the City invited Idaho artists to submit concepts for a new mural at 309 E. Lake Street as part of McCall’s Public Art Program. After reviewing submissions from eleven artists, the Public Art Advisory Committee selected Matt Sunderman for this project. He submitted three design concepts based on the theme of conservation for the mural, and community members are invited to help select the final mural design. “The mural compositions embrace the topic of conservation by showing the natural gifts that exist in West Central Idaho and the importance of water and snowmelt,” Sunderman explained.

Community members are invited to view the mural designs and rank them in order of preference. The City is asking that they consider how the designs reflect conservation and fit within our community. Rather than selecting a single favorite, participants are asked to rank all three designs and provide thoughts on them.

The new mural is made possible by the McCall Redevelopment Agency and the City of McCall in partnership with the property owner, Bill Lake, LLC.

The survey will remain open through August 19th.
