Please help us get the word out that we are back to one day a week water rationing. This video will help show why we had to take upper elk spring back off-line.. The material has stacked up to where it could switch direction and head down and impact our lower elk spring. We are working on protecting lower elk right now.

Please help us reach as many people as possible. The mudflows have increased over the last couple days and we were forced to take upper elk back off line. We have to go back to the one day a week watering schedule.

This was on Saturday 7-16-22 through Thursday 7-21-22 we are still going to be needing to complete work to protect the pipeline but as of today we can lift the once a week watering schedule and revert back to being able to water the 3 days a week on the same schedule as before.. we worked as fast as we could to patch some leaks disinfect and get it back online and we are feeling a lot better about the safety of the water line with 10 feet of clearance underneath the pipe.. Thank you to Hitchcock’s construction and our utility crew and everyone else who has helped!
We could use some help handing out the flyers to let everyone know they can water three days a week now.. Thank you!

Update on the current mud Creek mud flow issues. Awareness has raised to state level and county officials are also aware of it. We are also working on additional emergency funding sources. Hitchcock construction is making fast progress to help us get enough room dug out in the channel to safely bring the spring source from upper elk back online as soon as we can. We can’t stop the mud flows from coming down. But our engineers and the general manager are working on a design that will drop a casing below the channel for some temporary relief until a more permanent solution Of dropping the pipeline deeper under the Creekbed can occur.

The community can help by making sure they are watering on the correct days and times. Thank you for all the support we’re receiving from individuals and the community as a whole!

Residential garbage will not be picked up Monday, June 20. It will be picked up Tuesday, June 21. This is due to the newly declared federal holiday Juneteenth. This holiday falls on June 19 but has to be observed as a day off on Monday, June 20.
Sorry for the late notice. I just found out this was a new holiday Declared by the president that our employees have off.
