McClure Community Library

McClure Community Library We are a rural library in quiet Central PA town. Small in size but loaded with books for all ages. I Turn left on Library Lane just before the traffic light.

Directions: From the east on Rt. 522, pass the sign announcing McClure and veer left onto Specht Street at the bottom of the hill. The library is located across from the MCS Bank. From the west on Rt. 522, veer right onto North Brown Street by the Top Star Express Convenience Store. At stop light turn left onto Specht Street and then right onto Library Lane.

***Public Announcement***
There is a potential for very heavy traffic tonight due to Confederate Railroad at the McClure Bean Soup. According to the predictions our town could swell from 5x's up to 15x's, its population tonight. The Borough has requested additions support for this and are ready to call on more resources if necessary. The Borough is planning for high volume.

The deadline is approaching fast, make sure if you would like to have a Banner done this year to fill out the application and have it turned in before April 1st. It is Election Day Polls officially open at 7 am and are open until 8 pm today. For those residents in the Borough of McClure; the polling location is the McClure Vol. Fire Co. Fire Hall located on 49 West Specht Street. Make sure to get out and vote; Pennsylvania is a tight race and your vote could decide the outcome. See you at the polls!
