Thanks to Burwell Angling to a successful 8th year Fishing Derby at the McComb Cookie Festival!! 49 anglers including 12 new anglers caught a total of 315 fish with rock-bass, bluegill, crappie, perch, largemouth bass and catfish.

McComb sure will miss Robert A Smith he has been a great supporter of McComb Athletics, Village of McComb and a 65 year Rotary member. Rest in peace🙏

Robert A. Smith, age 95, a pillar of the McComb community, passed away July 17, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Bob was born on Halloween 1928 to the late Arthur H. and Florence Von Stein Smith and was a life-long resident of McComb. He married Shirley Beam on February 29,

What a HUGE success we had for the Fishing Derby! Special thanks to Craig Burwell of Burwell Anglers and the organizers of REAL McComb Cookie Festival for a fantastic free event for our youth! We had 80 registered youth (Most ever)! Biggest fish 1lb 3oz, smallest 2”, most fish 112, most species 4, longest 18”! Rotary District 6600
