Officer Magee has been with McComb Police Department for only three months and has already earned this significant achievement. Officer Magee proves consistent dedication to serving our community in a way that involves the occasional foot chase. 😆

Thank you for what you do. You truly are dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for our citizens. Your watchful eye and willingness to go the extra mile are greatly appreciated.

The City of McComb City Police Department is so very proud to present Officer Shania Coney as a recipient of the Mississippi “Top Cop” Award.

This is a state recognition—presented to law enforcement officers from all over the state of Mississippi, acknowledging their commitment to service and duty.

Officer Shania Coney exhibits the qualities of an officer who gives her all, every day. She has overcome many days of trials and, sometimes, self-doubt. She is a fine example of what it means to overcome everything that you thought would break you.

Officer Coney, you are so deserving of this achievement and we thank you for your daily commitment and sacrifice for our community. We are honored to have you with us and are certain that you will accomplish much more in the years to come.

🚨UPDATE: Mr. Riles has been safely located by a citizen and is being assessed by medical personnel. Thank you for your assistance and for the prompt dissemination of this post!

🚨McComb Police Department is asking for your assistance in locating a missing, vulnerable adult
Mr. Jerry Riles, 69yrs old. He was last seen by staff members at the McComb Claiborne Assisted Living facility today, March 28, 2026, between 12:30-1pm.

He was last seen wearing a brown or khaki jacket, blue jean pants and black shoes. Mr. Riles suffers from dementia and other medical conditions; he is a military veteran.

If located, keep a visual of him if possible and call 911 immediately. A Silver Alert has been initiated. We are working alongside surrounding agencies to safely and quickly locate Mr. Riles.
