Hearts Apart event - Deployed Family Members Day at the Sedgwick County Zoo! Loved ones will have access from 9 am to 5 pm. The National Park Service provides free access passes to current US military members and their dependents, US military veterans, and Gold Star Families for their support of our country and to encourage them to explore recreational opportunities on their public lands and waters.

A free lifetime Military Pass is available for Gold Star Families and US military veterans. A free annual Military Pass is available for current US military members and their dependents. These passes provide access to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, to include national parks, wildlife refuges, and forests.

December Hearts Apart for Deployed Families Holiday Party! Friday December 8th from 5:30-7:30 at the McConnell AFB Youth Center. The Party will include dinner, crafts and secret Santa shopping. Santa will be visiting with a toy for each child. Each family will receive tickets to Illuminations at Botanica Gardens that they can use at at time of convenient to them. When signing up please note how many adults, children, and ages. Sign up by December 6th and if you have any questions, please call M&FRC 759-6020.
