We're getting ready! See you today from 2-6:30 at our Back to School Program. There will be backpacks stuffed with supplies to give away thanks to our friends at Fulton County Community Charities. The MakerSpace will be helping you create beaded creations for your backpack. There will be lots of other groups and activities here. Visit all the groups and hand in your paper (get one when you come in) and you'll get a treat! See you soon!

Our Master Gardener friends sent us these pictures of the box we worked in this summer. Aren't things looking fantastic? You'll see baby and big swallowtail butterfly caterpillars, dragon beans, cabbage and baby broccoli. If you've never seen the Victory Garden that the Master Gardeners do at the Fulton County Medical Center, you're missing out. Stop by any time but if you want to meet them, try a Thursday morning.

Our weaving class participants are turning colorful strands into beautiful handwoven table runners while learning the art of weaving. The class is led by Jef Savage and Nancy Walker of Danza Antiqua and is funded in part with a grant from Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts, administered by the Cultural Alliance of York. Thank you to everyone who joined us for another fun day of learning and creating at the library!

Last week, Maker Club participants transformed simple terracotta pots into charming lighthouse lanterns, each one with its own unique design and personality. It was a fun afternoon of painting, creating, and enjoying great company. Thanks to everyone who joined us!
