Farmers, manure haulers, nutrient management professionals, and allied industries are invited to attend the Hoover Manure Expo on Monday, July 27, at Burk-Lea Farms in Chambersburg. 🚜💧🌱
The event, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., will feature educational sessions, field demonstrations, exhibitor displays, and networking opportunities focused on improving nutrient management and maximizing the value of manure resources.
The event's programming, supported by the Pennsylvania 4R Nutrient Stewardship Association, will cover several topics, including manure pit aeration systems, biochar production and uses, and John Deere's Harvest Lab technology for real-time manure nutrient analysis.
In addition to classroom sessions, participants can explore field demonstrations. Several continuing education credits will be available, including Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs), Nutrient Management, and Soil & Water Management.
