Update on our sweet little guy 🐾
We wanted to give everyone an update on the male pup who was found as a stray with his sister. When he came to us, we noticed he had an injured back leg, so we got him into the vet on Monday. Unfortunately, X-rays showed his leg was broken in multiple places.
After discussing the best options, the vet recommended amputation. While that sounds scary, the good news is he’s so young that he’s expected to heal quickly and adapt incredibly well—dogs are amazingly resilient, and he’ll likely grow up like he never even knew he had four legs.
He is now settled into a loving foster home where he’s being completely spoiled! His foster has three daughters, so he’s in a house full of girls getting all kinds of love and attention 💕
His foster family has lovingly named him Tripod, and we think it fits him perfectly 🐶
