On Friday, our large class of students were lucky enough to experience a salon visit to the Great Clips in Athens. Our experience started early with a tour prior to the salon opening. Followed by a little franchise history and employee experiences along with employment options and benefits. Special thank you to Cassie Reese and Jodi Ditterline for allowing us to experience this. We appreciate you both.

In class last week, students performed an activity involving the layers of a hair strand using pretzel sticks(medulla), marshmallows(cortex), and shredded chocolate(cuticle). The students enjoyed this interactive learning experience.
